The before and after on this one is a doozy! When RoadiD approached us to renovate an existing brick warehouse into offices we were ecstatic by the possibilities. We were tasked with transforming this solid “box” into an eye-catching piece of architecture that stands out from its surroundings. We achieved this by completely removing the brick wall and replacing it with floor to ceiling glass. The new glass becomes a mirror of its environment, reflecting many of Covington’s beautiful historic buildings. The glass is wrapped with a sleek metal panel that perfectly frames the new views – both interior and exterior. Stair circulation is also wrapped in an orange metal panel to emphasize the vertical volume that penetrates the building, it also is reminiscent of the red brick that was formerly on the façade. We are proud to add this transformative Covington project to our portfolio!
